First post from London

Hi all!

We made it! After a few hiccups at Perth airport. Security weighed our hand luggage and sent us back to check-in! We had to run back to the check-in counter, repack what we thought we didn't need and run back to immigration! We made it just in the nick of time, of course we were the 'last two' to board the plane! The flight was long but uneventful.

Down town London has lived up to it's reputation. It's bloody freezing! Rugged up in our winter woolies at the moment. At least we got to see some blue skies yesterday.

Today has been wet and cold. We have ventured into the city on the 'tube' to try and get a few things sorted out. What a place! I can see it will be a while before we see everything. We walked up to Hyde Park. That turned out to be a fizzer. It was mega cold and the trees haven't bloomed yet. In a couple of months when its warmer it will be fantastic.

We went to this awesome Turkish restaurant called 'Grand Bazaar'. The food was fantastic! We will definitely be heading back there. The food, service and ambience was great and not too expensive either.

The flat we are staying at is OK. At least it's only about 20 minutes out of the city, and there is heating and nice hot water. We are living in a shared flat with 3 other girls. Cam needs some more testosterone! Bring back the male balance!

We are hanging out in London until end of next week. We head to Turkey on 21/04/06 for our ANZAC adventure. Can't wait!

Sorry to be a nag, but could you please refrain from calling/texting Cam's mobile? Cam's mobile phone bill is going to be huge!!! We will both have a new phone number set up on Friday. We will email out our new number once its up and running.

Well that's about it for the mo. We will keep you updated with any new goss soon.
