All ready to go, we set of to Mont St Michel. You should google it if you would like to find out more, but it was an abbey and village established hundreds if years ago (Around the year 1000AD) on an island just off the coast. The English and other countries have attempted to take this over, but the defences are such that they never succeded. The French are very proud of this!
A very pleasant drive through the countryside. Stopped off for some photos on the way. Here is
what I thought came out best. Nat said 'Bloody hell, I'm being attacked by bugs!' I thought 'what the hell?' She had the car door open and I looked in the car and it was full of these bugs! Tiny things, must of been from the crops that we were looking over. They were everywhere! All over us, the inside and the outside of the car. Needless to say that we packed up pretty quickly after that and it was off to the shop to get some flyspray and other bits.Picked up our supplies and drove on in. Here is another photo, that I reakon is the best of any of the photos that I took of this place. It is so big it is hard to get a good photo of it! If you are interested here is a link with the history of this awesome place! (http://www.webfoot.com/travel/guides/france/mt.st.mike.html)

Parked the car, and off to explore. Heaps of tourists and stuff. Cranked out the lunch (fresh bread, meat and stuff). We then decided to go up to the abbey. This is at the top of the island. It was worth all the stairs. It was awesome!
There will be a few pictures of the top, but currently having some problems getting them in here!
So we spent ages, there is so many places to explore here! It is a bit of a maze, but they have it pretty well sighposted.
So it was time to head back home after a long, hot day.
We had dinner at the hotel restaurant again. This time Cam was spoilt, with with the 3 courses, and had a crab salad with crayfish sauce. Damn it was so yummy! I will never forget how good that was. And it was served really well too. Off to the hotbox for bed. Damn it is so hot in there!
Well will sign this one off now and another post for the D-Day beaches.
